Wayne State University police are seeking the driver of a minivan that struck a student on Palmer Street near the Law School yesterday evening. The student, who suffered leg and rib injuries, was in serious condition at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Witnesses said the driver of the van stopped, but then drove away.
